Highlighter

The Highlighter lets students mark important text in color on any webpage or document. Everything they mark is saved to My Annotations, grouped by the page it came from, so they can return to work they did earlier and see exactly what they marked.

Four of the highlighter colors carry editable labels, so a teacher or class can name them for specific reading strategies. Two colors are fixed: blue, labeled for vocabulary, which also sends the word to the student's Personal Vocabulary list, and white, for clearing existing highlights.

Words highlighted with the vocabulary label feed into Flash Cards and Vocabulary Lists in My Vocab for integrated study. Use with Read Aloud for multimodal learning support.
