Writer

Writer is the editor built into Mote for iOS. It offers on-device next-word predictions as a student types and reads their own writing back to them, and every Writer document is saved to the library alongside everything else the student has been reading.

• Word prediction keeps students moving when spelling or word-finding stalls them
• Hearing their own writing back is how students catch what does not sound right, which is far more effective than re-reading silently
• Writing lives next to the reading it came from, in the same library
• Predictions run on the device
